A big thank you to the Lions for providing such a fantastic fire work display on Sunday. It was by far the best display I and my family have seen. Well done!

Just a quick note to thank the Garforth Lions for its generous donation to the Garforth Responder Team. This has allowed us to purchased one of the most advanced defibrillator available. The equipment will enable us to continue to provide life-saving skills to the local community in the minutes before the professional ambulance is on the scene. Cheers, Michael Brown (Team Leader)

To everyone at the Lions; thank you so much for your generosity and support! Your donation has helped me to raise sufficient money to spend five weeks working with disabled children in Xi'an (central China) in October. For anyone who is interested in reading about my experiences in China, please feel free to access my online journal, which will shortly be receiving regular updates; http://Steph_in_China.blog.co.uk.

Good site, I have learnt a lot about the Lions by visiting your site. Today I had the pleasure of meeting Ian Thornhill and Paul Smith at the Garforth Hilton at the launch of Message in a Bottle. Hoping that you will be able to support the Voluntary organisation to which I am the Co-ordinator.
